The Martin Companies Legacy: A 50-Year Journey of Growth, Service, and Faith.
Our journey began in 1973 when the Martin Family established Martin Appliance in Myerstown, PA. What started as a small venture swiftly transformed into a multidivisional company with over 400 dedicated employees. With 6 store locations we have grown to offer appliances, furniture, water conditioning, and heating and cooling services.
A lot has changed in 50 years, but our core values remain unchanged. The Martin Family continues to lead with the same mission – to glorify Christ by positively impacting the lives of those we serve, while being faithful stewards of all entrusted to us.
1973 - The Martin Appliance Company is started!
1978 - Martin Water Conditioning is established
1979 - First appliance showroom is opened in Myerstown
1985 - Second appliance showroom is opened in Lancaster
1988 - Third appliance showroom is opened in Lebanon
1992 - Fourth appliance showroom is opened in Quarryville
2000 - Lancaster location moved to Brownstown & water conditioning starts serving New York
2002 - Classic Furniture is acquired & opened in Ephrata
2010 - New location was opened in Reading
2024 - Serving appliances at 6 locations, water conditioning across 6 states, & expanded into furniture and HVAC in select locations
